Lancashire Mindfulness

A not-for-profit social enterprise  based in Lancashire that exists to promote high quality mindfulness-based courses, information, workshops and training

formerly Mindful Nation UK LTD.

Lancashire Mindfulness CIC is a participating member of the UK Network of Mindfulness-based Teacher Training organisations. Our trainers adhere to the Good Practice Guidelines for Trainers and we encourage our trainee teachers to adhere to the Good Practice Guideline for MBI Teachers.

Our next Mindfulness MBCT Teacher Training Foundations course will commence in January 2017. We are currently accepting Expressions of Interest. Those applicants who fulfill pre-training requirements will then be invited to complete a full application form (including book reviews and practice record).

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST form - please email completed copy to Peter Morgan [email protected] and Lisa Graham [email protected]

The teaching days on the course will be on Fridays (Term Time) January to March 2017. Please note Lancashire Mindfulness CIC offers a 12 month (minimum duration) supervised training pathway for healthcare professionals. This training pathway has been developed in accordance with, and adheres to the good practice guidelines for teaching mindfulness-based courses as set out by the UK Network for Mindfulness-based Teachers.

Please note that this is a vocational training programme with an emphasis on ‘skills development and application of the skills’ to client base. As such, successful applicants onto this programme will be grounded, both experientially, and theoretically, within the foundations of mindfulness practice, the core essence of both MBCT and MBSR.
